The Initiative. (INIT.) concludes 6-month foreign campaign
After 6 months away from home territory, INIT. will be drawing to a close formal operations in the North.
In November 2009 we set out on a road trip which took us to Syndicate for random violence (with brief incursions into Cloud Ring), before heading further North to Pure Blind (Dec 10th) to raid Mostly Harmless, TCF and friends.
Conversations with ROL and Tri quickly ensued as we all descended into X-7 as base of operations for hunting season. After some ad-hoc joint ops, the TriZoo coalition was launched into action, attacking MH/TCF/OWN interests in and around Pure Blind. Joined further by Evoke, CO2 and later CH, we made some great progress, peaking with the capture of monkey island (P-2) before subsequently losing it back to the combined forces of the NC.
By the end of Feb, Atlas/COW/GC had also closed up their northern campaign (Geminate); which saw some joint ops collectively with TriZoo here and there.
Hostilities settled down to a murmur during March with roams taking place out of X-7 before ops were ramped up again in April with the promise of a 5-front campaign and the arrival of IT/Atlas/COW/GC/-A- et al.
Over the past 2 months we've worked closely with ROL/IT on the Pure Blind front and more lately Evoke/CH/DT once again with some great fights in Pure Blind/Venal/Tribute.
Territory has been won & lost and while engagements continue on a daily basis, the strategic aims have changed with a number of allies having withdrawn during the previous month (as has been well documented elsewhere).
Over the preceeding 71 days, INIT. has contributed to 488 Billion ISK of damage inflicted against 91 Billion sustained, achieving 84.19% efficiency overall, briefly summarised (kill/loss) by:

From an INIT. perspective we've enjoyed a very successful period of 6 months continuous PVP with fantastic results and I hope everyone on both sides has enjoyed the challenges and battles we've been involved in.
Special thanks to the pilots of INIT. and Initiative Mercenaries for the committment to the campaigns and incredible turnout to ops; in addition to our close allies and new friends who it has been a pleasure to fly with.
We will not be completely absent from the North; skirmish gangs will continue to operate so watch your background ;-)
